Today, I meet a little girl and her Mom in downtown Nashville, TN for a fun urban session. She was such the trooper as it was very cool outside! She didn't complain or whine about having her picture taken and was such a good sport through it all. One of my favorites is of her stricking a Mary Tyler Moore pose when she threw her hat up in the air.
My step-niece came today for her 6 months portraits. She was so good for her Aunt Rebekah. She gave me smiles and giggles. I got my baby fix in today!
This little cutie came over today and played peek-a-boo with me. How much fun!
Most of my commercial work is done in digital, however, I have not given up completely on film. I just love a beautifully printed silver gelatin print! I am in the darkroom at least once a week playing around with the smelly chemicals and loving it. This is the time when I can play and print personal work. I thought I would share a few film images that were processed the old fashioned way. These are prints from our European vacation this past summer.
This past weekend, I did some work with the very talented singer/songwriter Shantell Ogden. She is recording an album and is needing some updated promo shots, so we met at early Saturday afternoon for some camera time. Here are just a few of the many images we took. She brought her baby along and we were able to incorporate her into a few images.
